Ten Reasons Why I Love My Career As A Photographer

10) Creating images that melt parents' hearts.

9) Making kids laugh and be silly even when they don't want to.

8) Capturing a perfect moment between mom and child...

7) Catching a sibling connection that can't be beat off with a stick!

6) Freezing the passion that fuels the formation of family. :)

5) Grabbing an image so moving that it makes my own heart ache.

4) Seeing the light in a child's eyes.

3) Receiving praise from others because they feel some of my most favorite works resemble work "by an old Dutch master" (hopefully I don't look like an old Dutch master!! :P)

2) The ability to capture the everyday (and not so everyday in some cases) in relationships...

and lastly...

1) Because I am the luckiest girl in the world. I have been blessed with two gorgeous kids, a doting husband, a thriving business, the best clients in the world and a terrific sense of humor. I am so thrilled to be able to share my passion, I love being with kids and hanging out with the little ones and their parents, who I have discovered have a fantastic sense of humor and a passion to truly capture their little ones and their relationships with them as they see them in their hearts.

aw man, you nailed it! i love that image of the little girl sitting in that rocking chair. whoever told you that it looks like a painting did not lie. your work is really artistic and i imagine you have many customers who are fond of getting large images for their walls of your work.

i wish i lived in your area, my kids would look like angels if you did their portraits. it so nice to see someone who deserves success because they have vats of talent achieve it. congrats on your thriving business.
